Pinch punch, 1st of the month, second half of the year and all that... 🌟
First an apology, I've been a bit of a hermit lately, hiding in my little cocoon while life throws its curveballs at me. As a new business owner, I can't help but wonder where the first half of the year vanished to, and it's made me realise that I need to pull myself together, especially since I'm a self-proclaimed expert in the art of procrastination. Time to set some goals and bring some semblance of order to this chaotic existence!
Let's face it, we're all too connected these days. Our inboxes are overflowing with emails begging for our attention, our phones are cluttered with countless apps we hardly use, and our minds are drowning in a sea of digital noise. It's like we're stuck in a never-ending episode of "Hoarders" So, it's time for a grand reset. I'm diving headfirst into the depths of my inbox, mercilessly unsubscribing from newsletters, articles and reports I never get around to reading and attempting to untangle the virtual mess that has literally taken over my life.
But wait, there's more! In my pursuit of financial stability as a business owner, I've somehow stumbled upon this thing called "Profit First." I'm still trying to wrap my head around it myself. But I'll share my half-baked knowledge about it in another blog, once I figure out what on earth I'm doing. Stay tuned for a potentially confusing and mildly amusing explanation.
In my never-ending quest for a semblance of control and organisation, I've decided to embrace the trendiest of trends—a bullet journal. Now, if you've seen my handwriting and shockingly bad note taking, you'd know this is a recipe for disaster. But who am I to resist the allure of perfectly drawn grids and beautifully hand-lettered headings? I'm fully prepared for my bullet journal to look like a chaotic art project gone wrong, but I'm genuinely curious to see if this latest idea will actually help me stay on track. So, brace yourselves for updates or artistic mishaps at a later date.
Now, let's not forget about the mess inside our heads. Oh, the tangled web of thoughts and worries! But fear not, my friends, for I shall also take up the noble task of decluttering my mind. Through meditation, journaling, and perhaps a bit of therapeutic chocolate and wine indulgence, I'm determined to find some inner peace amidst the chaos. If you see me wandering aimlessly in nature, mumbling affirmations to myself, feel free to join in the madness. We can all embark on this mind-clearing journey together!
So, here's to my feeble attempts at decluttering and finding some order in the chaos. Join me, my fellow warriors of messiness, as we stumble through the second half of the year. Let's embrace our flaws, celebrate our beautifully imperfect lives, and revel in the joy of finding that one important document buried under a pile of unopened mail. May this be the beginning of a wholesome, slightly comical, and soul-nurturing adventure!
